And to what are we referring? Any of the thick-skinned, non ruminant ungulates, as the elephant, hippopotamus, and rhinoceros. Some add the warthog as being of the same group, may be because of its thick skin, so just to be safe I added a photo of one.

  1. I have fed an elephant when I was a child & while cruising through a Wildlife-Zoo a “Happy-Hippo” tried to enter the bus for food 😉 Lovely photos 🙂
