Lovely little fellows are actually quite long a good half metre…
We had a lot of mongooses (?) in Hawaii when I lived there. They were brought in to control the rat population but it didn’t work out so well.
These are indigenous to here and actually very timid, the banded mongoose a friendly fellow, will take on anything and as they are always in big groups the normally win as well… I love the little fellows they are amusing to watch as they forage for food, always one on watch for danger…
