What you see is what you get……. birds, animals, and all sorts of things, but remember; Work for a cause, not for applause. Live life to express, not to impress. Don't strive to make your presence noticed, just make your absence felt. .
thank you … must try and find a rat to photo… never captured one.. normally just jumped on top of them and that I’m sure you wouldn’t want to see… 125kg rat flat..
I would, too, and mostly do. Was it a brown recluse? Ugh! We had a mammoth tarantula in the yard last night. They can sure run fast, which is why I didn’t get a picture. Hairy, scary spiders!
Dragonflies were backyard pests in my native Texas. Out here in San Diego they are a rarity. I have only seen three of them here in almost 19 years.
love the close ups. beautiful in their own way. 🙂 thank you again.
thank you again…

Loved the photos. (not scared a bit of bugs – terrified of rats, though).

Such detail! I think all of these are truly beautiful, even though I don’t like spiders.
Thanks Gina… having a hole in my leg from a spider I now avoid them… this one was lucky… just loved his colour…

It was one called a “violin spider” quite a small spider, but will bite for no reason at all apparently…
Nasty!
looks great. like the fourth photo a lot:)
Thank you…
Wow, very sharp and detailed photos!
Thank you.. came out well.. and not taken with my primary camera…
Beautifully done. I don’t like spiders, but its a terrific shot.
Spiders are not my favourite either specially since being bit by one… which has left a hole in my leg… and the spider was so small.. a violin spider..
So lovely — The Dragon Fly shots are spectacular!!! ~ Bravo ~ you don’t discriminate amongst the creatures – large or small 🙂
As I say on the top of my blog… anything that gets in the way of the camera… just like the bigger stuff it’s easier to capture…
What sort of scary spider is that? 😉 All beautifully photographed.
Thank you… not sure what spider it is.. but avoided it after the photo
