From the elevated site and from the view platforms of the Monument, one looks out over the City of Pretoria. It is one of the country’s three capital cities, serving as the executive (administrative) and de facto national capital; the others are Cape Town, the legislative capital, and Bloemfontein, the judicial capital.
WOW! It is so nice to see them, I know now… Wonderful photographs… Thank you dear Rob, you should take more, I love to travel through the photographs. Love, nia
I am not the best at these type photos but been watching what you do and gaining inspiration from your photos…
Very nice panoramic shots there!
Thank you… you’ll have to come do a fashion shoot here…
Thank you for sharing these with us as it is interesting to see the other side of the world out there:)
Thanks thought you might enjoy it… I’m by no means a city boy… but it did look quite good from up there…
Yes and I do find it interesting to see parts of the world and life that I do not see here…I love living here but I do want to travel when we can and see the US and Canada:)
Something I’ve still got to do is see all of my own country… so many wish lists include trips overseas… mine has more places here than overseas… including our neighbouring countries Nambia and Botswana,,,,
It is way cool that you are doing it:)
For sure you do need to do that:)
I haven’t been to Pretoria for many years. It still looks very dry and wintry there.
Well it was up till two day ago whe the rain and hail came tumbling down… 90 mm we measured… everything nice and wet… all we need now is that warmth that we had a few weeks ago… and Pretoria will begin to green up again…
Wow, interesting! Thanks, for giving us a peek at the other side of the world.
Just one of our smaller cities… but one decked in history…
Where is this?
South Africa…
Thanks, the names of the cities intrigued me. Are you there right now?
Yes we are temporarily living here while a computer program I developed is encoded, and then after the initial marketing I’ll be traveling… good chance for more photos..
How wonderful!
