Very little is constant in Africa…

I hate it when I struggle with the Internet…….. so many wonderful posts to see…. so many comments one wants to make… it accepts a “like” but won’t process half of the comments… WHY can’t things be more constant in Africa.???

The sun comes up every morning…. you might not be able to see it… but you know it’s there.. and it goes down in the evening, of that I’m sure… now that’s consistency..

I can read comments on my posts… approve them… but half the time I can’t answer them…

In Africa.. prices go up… and seldom come down… (another constant) so people strike for more money and services are disrupted…. now I’m wondering…. Is the internet on strike.?? is it demanding more from it’s owners that we are already paying more to for our connections???   Who is the idiot that educated electronic connections..??? Have they got their own union now..????

Don’t, my fellow bloggers, think the Bulldog is on strike… I want to comment on your blogs, but half of the day it will not let me… and other times it will… so don’t give up, I’ll be back in full strength at some stage… I can’t sit in front of the computer all the time waiting for the good moments… Linda won’t let me… I might end up in divorce court and the internet is there as co-respondent…

Now I wonder if my blog for the day that I up loaded to WordPress a couple of days ago has been published…. and for that matter I wonder if this will up load… but I have to test some how… So don’t let this post discourage you… it is merely the wandering thoughts of a disrupted internet user, frustrated beyond words… well now that I look up and see how much I’ve written maybe I should stop now….

Now theirs a thought, how many of you can type and look at the screen instead of the key board… or is that a man thing.???

Kaapsehoop Waterfall.. a casual stroll…

There is a wonderful little stroll across to a waterfall near the village, an easy walk down and not to bad back up. Down to the bottom of the waterfall is a different story, but me being me, a hot day, and no one around… a skinny dip seamed the way to go… till I felt the water… I wonder where they keep the refrigeration unit..??  It could have been a very small, painful swim….

On the way I passed horses…

There didn’t seem to be enough to eat…

and further down one catches sight of the water fall…. disappearing into a hole…

The climb down and the resultant sight made it well worth the effort…

This pool seemed the ideal spot to skinny dip… till the water temperature told me differently…

This waterfall is well worth a visit if you ever find yourself in Kaapsehoop… one passes and old grave yard on the way, if that scratches your fancy..
