One that is not easy to capture on camera… this one walked right up to me hidden behind a tree…. it was a big tree luckily…

What a lucky day for you Bulldog. He is a grand bird and does look quite large. I guess it is true what they say about the camera adding a few pounds. 🙂
Got so close I could add the pounds… but glad you reminded me of that point.. looking at photos taken of me, I’ve not put on weight it’s just the camera…lol

Not so big.. in fact the goshawks and Martial eagles enjoy them when they can capture the fast moving bird….

It looks like a guinnea fowl except for its face! Those eyes!
Much smaller than the guinnea, but like all francolins.. shy and fly so quick… this really didn’t see me till the last minute..
