What you see is what you get……. birds, animals, and all sorts of things, but remember; Work for a cause, not for applause. Live life to express, not to impress. Don't strive to make your presence noticed, just make your absence felt. .
Red billed Spurfowl… a Photo set that speaks for itself…
What a lucky day for you Bulldog. He is a grand bird and does look quite large. I guess it is true what they say about the camera adding a few pounds. 🙂
Got so close I could add the pounds… but glad you reminded me of that point.. looking at photos taken of me, I’ve not put on weight it’s just the camera…lol
We could make a tv sit-com out of this guy!! He looks like he’d play a mean game of golf too 🙂 ~ Wonderful shots dearest Bulldog! Lots of Love and welcome HOME!! x R
Thanks Viveka… not sure your rabbit chasers would get any where near him… a very timid fowl that walked straight up towards me before he knew I was there….
Great to see ou back here, and you’ve brought your great sense of humour back with you. 🙂 Love the pics, especially the laughing one. You’re posts are so entertaining. 😆
Delightful! NOW golf courses are interesting.

My pleasure that you enjoyed…
Great Bulldog! (I loved the one of the bird laughing, also – really made me laugh out loud!)

They are all on their way…

Good to see you back! Great shots of this elusive bird. I love the feathers (and the commentary!) 😀
Thanks Dianne.. so much more to come I don’t know what to post first…
Good catch Bulldog. That’s looks like a big bird. What eats them?
Not so big.. in fact the goshawks and Martial eagles enjoy them when they can capture the fast moving bird….
Thank you. Maybe they just seem big relative to what I see here.

looking forward ….i bet you have so many to review and edit ~ hope you had a wonderful time:)
He could be glad is wasn’t me that he met on the green – he would have been in great danger – with my rabbit chasers. Brilliant shots of a great bird
Thanks Viveka… not sure your rabbit chasers would get any where near him… a very timid fowl that walked straight up towards me before he knew I was there….
But it was because you are male .. *smile
You got some brilliant shots out him and really enjoyed your post and it gave me a massive smile.
Didn’t expect to be hanging on the words of a bird this morning, and yet, here I was enjoying his morning stroll! Enjoyed it very much, thank you 🙂
I’m glad you enjoyed and have so much more to share after a month walk about…
Great to see ou back here, and you’ve brought your great sense of humour back with you. 🙂 Love the pics, especially the laughing one. You’re posts are so entertaining. 😆

Thanks Cecilla… a life time experience I hope that will be repeated… if business is good this year I’m on my way back as soon as I can afford it…
I hope business is good then.. c
I love his great big laugh!!!
He certainly chortled away as though he had been watching my golf…
Love the set! Such authority this one walks with! 😉
He only waddled across towards me as he could not see me… if he had of taken a photo of me he would have seen a big grin on my face…
I can see that grin now!! 🙂 haha
That is the craziest bird I have ever seen! It’s like a quail, chicken, pidgin!! Ha love it!!
Thank you… they are strange but like all francolin and quail… very quick to flight .. so this was lucky…
SUPER COOL!!!! I love it when you go on vacation!!! I get so many tours and play golf!! Go over seas!!! Your so generous!
Well you might enjoy this trip…Thank you…
Great photos, love the laughing one! Welcome back Bull Dog!

Thanks Dear… not sure if I don’t want to be here, but rather back there.. I love that area…
lovely funny and wonderful photographs. Thank you dear Rob, love, nia
Thank you Nia… back in the city…
It looks like a guinnea fowl except for its face! Those eyes!
Much smaller than the guinnea, but like all francolins.. shy and fly so quick… this really didn’t see me till the last minute..
enjoyed the talk as much as the photos..lol
Thank you…
😆 “crappy shot” the last one should be “outta here” 😉
The last was just before he flew at speed….
heh
Glad you enjoyed
