What you see is what you get……. birds, animals, and all sorts of things, but remember; Work for a cause, not for applause. Live life to express, not to impress. Don't strive to make your presence noticed, just make your absence felt. .
What struck me about this big cat was how sleek she is. Most cats I see are small (I live in a condo community) and are overfed (like their human companions). It’s nice to see a fit critter.
These were taken just after sunup … a magnificent light when in the Kalahari… has an eerie feel and orangy glow… lovely…wish I got the lion in that light rather than in the high heat bright white light that seems to reflect off the dunes…
The fastest… I hope I don’t make a fool of myself now but I think they have been measured at 100 + km./ Hr( 60 – 65 mph). I know they do the 0 to 100 in something like 5 seconds… yes faster than any other animal..but it is only for short distances.. about 500 metres, then they have to slow up…
One beautiful animal … there is something about the cheetah; they are so slender refine … like an exclusive sport car.
That top shot is brilliant … looking over her kingdom or for some dinner???

Yes this one is fit and fast… and most of the time is robbed of its meal, by lion or hyena…
great light, what a wonderful good morning!
The light is special that time of the day… don’t know why… thank you.,
Great photos … amazing camouflage! … and thanks for the welcome back.
Frank nice to have you back… missed you… but then for a family get together.. nothing to beat it…
The wonderful Cheetah Bulldog – another favourite of mine! Thanks so much for sharing 🙂
I just wish it was a little closer… but you got to take what you’re given…
Such gorgeous creatures. You were very lucky to see them, even this close.
Not close enough… way to scared to come and get a piece of Karoo Lamb..
What a great thing to see. Amazing how those spots camouflage them.
They seem to just merge with the sand dunes…
WOW! They totally blend in to their surroundings…..the light in these images is wonderful 🙂

And you decided not to feed them? I’m surprised haha!
I called and called, they would just not come closer so that we could offer them something to eat…lol
gorgeous animals! I understand they are the fastest animals in existence, is that true?

that’s amazing to me!
My favorite big cat!
They are a beautiful cat… but my favourite… the leopard… majestic and power to weight ratio.. the strongest…
Non sono primi piani ma si vedono benissimo.
Ciao, Pat
Thanks Pat… not close enough…

They are magnificent in stature.. and to see them run is beyond imagination… thank you…
Beautiful photos! They look close to me!!
Thanks Sherry… I would have preferred them next to the vehicle… but then one can’t always get what you want from animals…
Their camouflage is effective against those backgrounds.
Very difficult to see… lucky we had good eyes with us… I struggled to pick them up with these old eyes…
