There is a place near to me that can produce some of the most fantastic opportunities to capture special sunrises… here are a few I’ve captured…
Well sometimes we stand, wait and not receive the reward of a special capture, but it still remains a wonder to enjoy…
On some mornings this is what you can be rewarded with for an early start…
Magical sunrises! I am losing myself in the peaceful moments of sunrise. Very moving photos! I am blessed to be able to witness God’s presence in these shots. I am so very much at peace viewing these. Thank you for sharing.
These are mesmerizing sunrises Bulldog ~ just gorgeous shots.
I hope you are on a good journey – safe travels my friend!]
Much Love and Hugs – x Robyn
It’s one thing to appreciate beautiful sunrises, and another to capture the magic of them on film.
You accomplished them both, much to all our delight.
Thank you Ronnie…
Great images. I often go to Hilly Fields in Colchester with a great view across the landscape, with some awesome sunsets.
Absolutely beautiful and serene 🙂
Thank you a very special place
Really magical sunrise pics, bulldog. I especially love that really misty one. 🙂
Thanks AD .. they don’t happen to often but when they do they make such good opportunities…
Wow, that is stunning! Sunrise is my favourite time of the day.
Thank you.. I’m sure you realise it is mine as well… nothing nicer than being out in the early morning air awaiting the sun that always comes up with sometimes wonderful photographic opportunities…
Your lurking around in the wee hours seems to have paid off on many an occasion. I’m talking about the photographs, just to be clear! 😉
Thanks Lorna… the early morning has always been very rewarding… Photos I mean, just to be clear…
Since I am a morning person, a special sunrise can make me euphoric for days! You live in a beautiful little niche in this magnificent world. Thanks for sharing so much of it with us Bulldog. You definitely do it justice! 🙂
Thank you LuAnn… by far my most special time of the day, when most are still in bed, leaving the open space for me to enjoy alone… and I do agree a good sunrise can turn a good day into a good week…
what a great moments you captured, dear Rob, fascinated me, like a poem… Thank you, love, nia
Thanks Nia… I love the early morning…
Sunrises and sunsets are to me really beautiful… Thanks for sharing these, Bulldog.
Thank you..yes there is always that special moment in either the rise or set…
Great sunrise and misty water shots Bulldog. Hard to pick a favourite here – they’re all good.
Thanks Brian… have so many suffer from the same problem…
How beautiful! Love the mist and the light!
Thank you…
Definitely worth getting up early. I love mornings…..watching the sunrise with a cup of hot black coffee. Lovely photos!
Thanks Ingrid… yours coffee mine tea…
The wonder of the breaking of the day – magic all round, I’d say, even in the cold of a frosty pre-dawn winter’s morning. 🙂
Thank you… it is that magical time of the day that makes the rest of the day so special
Those are so super that they almost tempt me into trying some – but I’m not an early morning person!
I have more good sunrises at the sea side than up country… you should try it…
You are so luck
this place is so wonderful
the first picture show a sense of calmness
they are amazing photos
Thank you Doris…
Amazing sunrises indeed bulldog. Nature sure have a special paintbrush of her own and you’ve captured it so well. 😀
Thanks for sharing. *hugs*
Thanks Sonel…
I love the mist, it adds so much to the ambiance and feeling of these pictures. Lovely, Bulldog! 😀
Thanks Dianne… Only really get it in the winter so often go searching for it…
Sunrises are a rarity in my life these photo’s are a wonderful sight for these eyes.
Glad you enjoyed… can’t sleep past the 4am clock… so I do occasionally go looking for these…
Stunning Bulldog – definitely worth getting up early for. We’re lucky here on the West Coast of NZ – we get the sunset so no need for early starts….. 🙂
Where I am we get both… the sunsets are always better than the sun rises, unless one can capture them with a bit of mist in the winter…
Marvelous!
Thanks…
It looks cold and wintery! What’s with the jacket? Does it get cold there? What are your temperature lows and highs like? Oh and nice sunrises by the way!
It’s COLD…. – 1 C our lows can go down to -4 and as high as 32 – 35 C thank you… but it is worth braving the cold for the sunrises…
at -1 we start wearing t-shirts and shorts! Try -45 with the windchill!
That’s why I live in Sunny South Africa… as our spring summer and autumn I spend in shorts and tee shirt… Avg min 17 – Max 35 C It’s your choice to live where an Igloo is called home… LOL
It’s where I was born LOL but you’re right, I could move. So what are you and Linda cooking up for dinner? When should I be there? Can you pick me up at the airport?
How about nice Karoo Lamb shanks with all the trimmings… but you need to move fast I eat a lot… yes just give us the flight number we’ll pick you up…
Oh I’m in trouble, I eat slow, I like to savour the tastes!
Beautiful capture … thanks for sharing !
Thank you… my pleasure…

The mist on the water adds a beautiful fresh touch.
I love it when it does that … unfortunately not every day…
Beautiful shots and so worth getting there early:) It must be chilly where you are at? Love the colors you captured:)
Thank you.. yes it is chilly in the mornings I’m not normally dressed like that… thank you for the complement…
🙂
Stunning!! There’s no better way to start off a day :).
I could not agree with you more… thank you…
These are really outstanding, Bulldog!
Thank you…
These actually brought tears to my eyes. There is something about the peaceful moments of sunrise that just moves me. You can feel God’s presence in those precious moments. Thank you, Bulldog for sharing these with us. You are a blessing. Skye
Thank you Skye… it is lovely to stand there all alone and contemplate the days beginning…
I bet. It is lovely. I am so glad you have such a place as that (seeing you do not have cool fences and all–poor thing) 😀
Oh! How beautiful! Yes – I can understand you making the effort – it is worth it!
Thank you… the bird hide is just the right place for it too…
I’ll bet!
I love the photographs!
Thank you…
