  1. I’m ‘roaring’ happy to see more lion photos, Bulldog! Thanks so much for sharing some more of them! 😀 Just such magnificent animals… it must be so amazing to see them up close ~ or close enough to snap photos of them. 😉 We have a gorgeous pair of lions at a local zoo here, but it’s not the same as seeing them in more of a wild setting…

    • In the wild they are either at the top of the food chain or slowly descending into old age which is also a pity to see… but when in their prime like this one, there is just no comparison …

    • I try my best to get them to do what I want… they don’t always listen and they’re not to be argued with… lol… Thank you, sometimes they just pose as you would want, others, they wont even look in your direction…

    • Thanks Debra… I have had so many opportunities, but most times a lack of co-operation on their behalf makes for poor photography… other times like this they do all you want them to…

    • Ronnie I have to often comb their hair for the perfect shot… that takes me up close… lol… I can assure you there are not many that are as careful as I… and Dad did teach me well as I explain in my book…

  2. so beautiful. I know I’ve said it over and over and over and over but man oh man you are so lucky to have this wildlife and to be able to see and photograph it – fantastic!

    • You know I get just as jealous of the beautiful scenery that you share on your blog… and I wish I had places like that to take photos, instead of these boring animals… lololol…I’m serious I do get jealous of your scenery…

    • I once sat with my son and we wondered why this lion was smiling at us and almost seemed to be talking to us… then we realised it had to be flies… she was just too far for a good photo of her bothersome visitors…
