What you see is what you get……. birds, animals, and all sorts of things, but remember; Work for a cause, not for applause. Live life to express, not to impress. Don't strive to make your presence noticed, just make your absence felt. .
This was one of the animals we saw today “behind glass,” Rob. I wasn’t kidding when I said I was thinking of you! I think this is such a phenomenal animal. They always impress me. And to think about how you just find them on a golf course stroll. You are the right person to have such a fabulous new camera, that’s for sure. 🙂
Thanks again Debra. .. I was out agsin today, but this time in the bush… tracked and found the kudu, will be posting the photos as one comment was about their camouflage…. the photos today demo that completely
To see such a beautiful animal as this strolling across a golf course would be amazing! My most exciting shot of an animal on a golf course was a sandhill crane. 😉
We have a few golf courses with a fair spread of wild animal’s. … the most exciting being Skukza inthe Kruger National Park where I have played often where it is possible to meet up with elephant and lion…. a really thrilling game of golf everytime one plays there…
Your new camera appears to be working well Rob. The biggest animal I ever see on our golf course is an occasional montjac or hare. Do Kudu cause problems on your greens?
Most definitely… they have a verysharp hoof which leaves a deep pitch mark, local rule you’re allowed to repair it…. fortunately they don’t often go on the green being leaf eaters…. but it is a nice encounter when youget them on the course…
I was just thinking how cool it would be to have such a magnificent creature walk upon the golf course just a few hundred yards from my back yard. Beautiful animals!
Good morning – I don’t believe that I have ever seen a Kudu before. I know for a fact that I’ve never seen such a magnificent photo of one. What a pleasure for me to enjoy with my first cup of coffee this morning… and I thank you for this moment…
Michael
The Kudu make for an interesting additional obstacle on a golf course 🙂
Beautiful animal and beautiful photos. 😊
Thanks Inga

They must be able to hear you long before you see them. Great coat design!
That is what makes it such a challenge to get near them…. one of my favourite past times is tracking and creeping up on them….
That’s quite a golf course! Lovely animals, lovely shots!
Thank you…

It is wonderful to have them on the course… specially when I’m therewith the new camera
They have smart camouflage! (Always had trouble spelling that word. Hope it’s right. Too lazy to get the dictionary.) Great pics.
Well for one I’d never correct you…. but yes their camo is tops…

I saw the Discovery Channel’s “Africa” documentary series and it was AMAZING! I’d never seen these animals before then. Nice shots of them!
Thanks Laura
You’re welcome! I hope you’re enjoying your new camera. 🙂
More than words can say
Yay!
And to think, I thought seeing Bears on the golf courses in Colorado was cool…..
This was a good test for the new camera…. I think their selfies turn out worse than my photo, so they came to show themselves off
So very beautiful bulldog. 🙂
Thank you
