It was not my intention to post a sunrise today, but the pure brilliance of what greeted me this morning has to be shared. Blurry eyed, cup of tea and a cigarette, out on to the balcony and this is what greeted me at 5.30 in the morning.
And as time passed this is how the sky developed….
and then the sun broke the horizon….
