Biopsy results expected today and like the elephants I’m just pausing in a relaxed mode…

  1. Read some of the comments, so glad to hear that the results were good news. I hope you can get the symptoms under control, sounds like you’re on your way. LOVE the elephants, they are so majestic.

  2. The elephants look very unconcerned about their futures! If only we, as humans, could be as simple in our fears and worries. I am so glad that you’ve been under the care of physicians and proper testing. So many people wait too long to get to the bottom of suspicious symptoms. The photos are just fabulous. My cousins just returned from a safari in South Africa. They’d been to your country for a medical conference, and stayed over for the safari. While we were at the family reunion we enjoyed their photos, but while everyone else was “oohing” and “awwing” at the animals, I kept thinking of you and all the animals and fantastic birds you’ve already introduced me to. I told them I’d send them a link to your blog, and will! They had such a wonderful experience in South Africa. I’m continuing to wish you well!

    • This is so good to hear, so many people ask me about the safety of visiting our country… it is just the same as visiting yours. There are areas one stays away from and life is safe… our reserves are so under rated mis understood till they’re visited. they are natural areas kept such, that when a tree falls it remains there for the small insects to do their thing, total ecological areas. There is nothing quite like driving into a heard of elephant or a pride of lion on a kill, the elusive leopard in a tree with not a worry in the world… it is Africa that was naturally like that years ago but spread through out the country… I grew up in areas that was like that, nothing to walk into an elephant in the bush and greet him like I do people in the street… if you ever get the chance… come…

  8. I’m so glad for you all…I know that I said it earlier, but I’ve thought about throughout the day…thank goodness for us all that you are going to be ok….the road has really been hard for you and most of us can’t really comprehend what you’ve been through…but we’re all so relieved.

    • Well the news is in and it is good… benign… I fully expected that as Linda’s growths have all been soft tissue mine were hard and semi calcified… shows how much experience Linda’s cancers have given me… I just knew I’d be alright… now just the up hill battle around the emphysema and sleep apnea back to a semblance of normality… (Lots of chocolates in other words)

    • Thanks Cee… the news is that they are benign and it is what I expected… Linda’s were all soft tissue, mine were hard tissue… somehow it all didn’t fit together… but thank you so much for the support …

    • Thank you AD .. somehow I knew they would be ok… Linda’s have all been soft tissue whereas mine was a hard tissue, something just didn’t make sense in my mind…
