Sonel has set another toughie for me this week as I do not take a lot of photos that I could call textures, however I managed to find a few within my vast library of photos that I could convert to the proverbial B&W… enjoy…
Foot Prints in the snow… and paving blocks.
The Texture of a rock face, interesting cracks and sand…

There is mystery in the black and white photos. The shots of the paving blocks are extremely meticulous and subtle!
It is very well done, Rob. Nice textures all.
Thanks George…
Ya done good, as they say over here! 🙂
Thank you…
These are cool 🙂
Thanks Paula…
This is a tough challenge. My fave is the footprints.
I like them too… thank you..
There is something compelling and mysterious about black and white photos….these are very beautiful. It is always fascinating to see different perspectives in all the various forms of creativity….most especially in photographs.
Thank you so much… I have never really done much work in B&W as most of my photography is birds and animals where color seems important… However I am enjoying this challenge.. Again thanks for the look in and follow, in return I’m following you..
I am so excited to follow along….your photos are exquisite! I would agree that for birds and such color is important. I will look forward with anticipation to both color and b&w from you as well! Thank you very much for the follow as well! 🙂
very good love all of them
Thank you Doris…
The bricks create such great texture Bulldog 🙂
Thanks Amanda.. loved your post for textures…
You’re welcome, and thank you 🙂
The B&W photos seem to bring out the hidden character of the target of the photograph. Nice photos.
Thanks Alex…
Great textures. Love the little beetle (if that’s what it is). You can even see a reflection on him.
Thanks Maralee… yes it is some kind of beetle that fascinated me on the beach… it also rolled it self into a ball when it felt threatened…
Bob, brilliant gallery …. love the sand prints .. and that little bug. Excellent choice for the challenge.
Thanks Viveka…
Always a pleasure, Bob.
Wonderful captures of some really nice textures! 😀
Thanks Jackie…
Awesome! Where did you come across snow?
Oh we get it here on the odd occasion, not as heavy as that though.. this is from a trip to Germany…
Ach Du Lieber meine heimat’s land!
It’s your homeland… what you doing in Canada then.??
My ancestral one. I’m first generation Canadian. 🙂

Good interpretation of the theme Bulldog. The block paving looks shiny new – I wish mine did.
Thanks Brian, that is old photos of paving my business laid a few years ago, it don’t look like that any more…
