Two Trunks or One Sir?… May be they have two…

Is it possible that an Elephant can have two trunks or only one?… these photos made me think it possible to have two. How they control the one is difficult enough to understand, but two?

Have you heard this one;

There’s an elephant and a camel, the elephant asked the camel “why do you have your boobs on your back?” the camel says “that’s funny coming from a guy that has his dick on his face”

  1. This was really funny! I couldn’t possibly get the perspective until the one shot from above. I began to wonder what it was I didn’t really know about an elephant’s anatomy. I was reading a book recently about a couple of very wealthy early 20th century land owners from California and it was mentioned that they would recreate in Africa hunting elephants. I felt so upset to think of that, although I know it is still a concern today. They are just such really wonderful animals. I am so glad you share photos of them.

    • Thank you… they are one of those animals that I feel has a very high intelligence… they can communicate with sounds that the human ear cannot hear, and a command from their Matriarch is obeyed instantly…
      I witness a huge Bull wanting to pair with a female I though was too young just from her size, she started to scream and run for her life, the Matriarch charge in and chased that bull away from the herd… she even has power over the huge Bulls that only join the herd when in Musk… They are absolutely fascinating to just sit and watch their patience with their young is similar to the human… they take so much and then the admonishment is dealt out with a look and communication of sorts, the young obeys immediately… wonderful animals…

  2. I love this, not only do I adore elephants (and the two-trunks shot very clever!) but the jokes had me laughing-out-loud. Great post Bulldog, thanks so much for making me not only smile but laugh this Monday afternoon 🙂

  3. Enjoyed your photos and your jokes as ever Rob. Elephants appear to have more human traits than most animals. It must be fascinating to see them close up, and to study them through the lens in their natural environment.

  4. LOL! Thanks for the laugh again. 😀
    Elephants are such majestic and beautiful animals Rob and you’ve captured them so well! Thanks for sharing. 😀

    • Thanks Vicki… couldn’t think of anything for the Aussies… wanted to say “Do they play Rugby?” but half of my followers wouldn’t know what that meant…
